About Us

My name is Dr. Cheryl Hanly, DC. I am a native of Kansas City currently residing in North Carolina. It is my passion and my mission to make a positive difference in the lives of the people with whom I come in contact.

My eagerness to learn the healing arts grew as I watched my father’s plight with allopathic medicine. He was prescribed medication after medication and procedure after monotonous procedure. Some were very necessary and lifesaving. Most were using him as a test-dummy, with nothing more than an algorithm to justify their use.  In my heart of hearts, I knew then that the human body was an amazing healing machine, and there had to be a different way, other than pumping it full of drugs and surgery.

This was the beginning of my journey into the powerful chiropractic healing paradigm.

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City in 2005. That was just the beginning of my education, however. I am licensed to perform acupuncture; I have been a dedicated student of nutrition; I have extensive knowledge of whole-food supplementation and the use of herbs and essential oils; I have completed over 200 credit hours in the area of functional neurology and neurodegenerative illnesses; I have done extensive research in the arena of the genetic gut microbiome and normalizing cellular physiology in order to combat stealth pathogens.

I understand that there is more to healing the human body than just the physical manifestations. True healing comes from taking the outward symptoms and turning them inward to find answers.

Helping others heal is what I do and what makes my heart sing.

Currently, I am richly blessed with the most amazing patients in the world. My youngest patient was 4 hours old; my oldest patient was 97. My smallest patient came in the form of twins that could fit in the palms of my hands. Together, what we have all discovered is that there isn’t a single condition that the human body can’t overcome. Some are certainly more challenging than others and when the patient gives the body what the body needs, the body heals, corrects, and repairs itself. The most challenging part of my profession is keeping my patients from giving up on themselves. Healing takes time and it doesn’t have to look a certain way.

That is why Creedmoor Wellness Center, PLLC is excited to announce the addition of our weight loss division. Compass Weight Loss, LLC is a doctor-designed, metabolic weight-loss program created with long-term sustainability in mind. This means we fill your body, mind and spirit with the right kind of food.
